Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers rooms with doors as secure as bank vaults and stunning views overlooking the old port. The service is a mix of curious incidents and friendly, patient interactions, adding a touch of warmth. Its location is extremely convenient, right in front of the Old Port, making exploring Marseille effortless. The dining experience is highlighted by a fantastic spread of breakfast items, perfect for early departures.
I couldn't have been happier with my stay at the hotel! The location was simply amazing, right in the Old Port of Marseille, allowing me to enjoy evening walks around the port and explore the city easily. The rooms were comfortable, and the service was not only courteous and prompt, with great advice on places to visit, but also attentive and kind, making me feel truly welcomed. However, the dining experience was a bit hit or miss, with some fantastic options but lacking consistency. Overall, a fantastic stay with a few minor hiccups.
Staying at the hotel was a delightful experience. The rooms were much better than expected - clean, spacious, and all on one level, making it very convenient. The kindness and help at the reception were exceptional. However, the 'courtyard' view turned out to be a small light-well with noisy electrical machinery.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of luxury and disappointments. The rooms were luxurious, beautiful, and well-equipped with amenities like a coffee maker and hot tea kettle, but they were not as clean as expected. The service was a bit of a letdown with an issue of overcharging for city tax and unaddressed refund requests, despite the friendly and helpful staff. The location was incredible right on the harbor, but there were instances of hotel staff trying to enter our room without clear reasons. The dining experience was excellent with fresh produce offerings but came at a steep price. Overall, a stay with highs and lows.
My stay at Grand Hôtel Beauvau was a mixed experience. The hotel offers stunning views of the old harbor port; however, the lively atmosphere can be noisy. The room had plenty of closet space, but there is room for improvement in noise insulation. The service was polite and courteous, but lacked the warmth that would make it truly exceptional. The location is unbeatable for exploring Marseille with easy access to the metro, although some parts of the hotel need refreshing. The dining experience was excellent catering to all tastes, but the facilities could use some upgrades.
My stay at the hotel was a wonderful experience overall. The rooms, although not offering a courtyard view, were newly decorated and clean, providing a great mix of modern and rustic elements. The noise from electrical machinery in the small light-well was a bit bothersome, but the spacious layout and nice television made up for it. The service was exceptional, with friendly and informative staff who made my visit very comfortable. The location, right on the harbor and near the Metro, was extremely convenient for exploring Marseille. The dining experience was good with a variety of sweet and salty options, but slightly pricey. The facilities were well-equipped, making my stay pleasant and convenient.
